House Call ("we," "us," or "our") operates the House Call mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use our App and related services. By using House Call, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.

2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Information you provide: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and profile photo. When you make a booking, we collect your service address and payment information (processed securely by Stripe — we do not store card numbers).

Location information: With your permission, we collect your device's location to show nearby providers and to enable real-time provider tracking during active bookings.

Usage information: We collect information about how you use the App, including bookings made, services viewed, and interactions with providers.

Device information: We collect device identifiers and push notification tokens to send you booking updates and alerts.

7. PUSH NOTIFICATIONS

We send push notifications for booking confirmations, provider status updates, and important account alerts. You can disable push notifications at any time in your device settings.

8. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

House Call is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately.

9. SECURITY

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS), secure payment processing via Stripe, and access controls on our servers. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.


10. PROVIDER LICENSE VERIFICATION

House Call checks provider-submitted license numbers against official state licensing databases as part of the onboarding process. Currently, Florida licenses are verified against the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR) and the Florida Department of Health databases. As House Call expands to additional states, verification will be extended accordingly.

Important limitations of license verification:

You are responsible for conducting your own due diligence before booking any service. We encourage users to independently verify a Provider's credentials, ask questions before services begin, and exercise their own judgment when selecting a Provider.

11. DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY

House Call is a technology platform that connects customers with independent beauty and wellness professionals ("Providers"). House Call is not a beauty or wellness service provider, does not employ Providers, and is not responsible or liable in any way for the services performed by any Provider.

All services are rendered by independent contractors who are solely responsible for their own work, conduct, and compliance with applicable laws and licensing requirements.

BY USING HOUSE CALL, YOU EXPRESSLY ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT:

If you have a safety concern about a Provider or a service, contact us immediately at support@joinhousecall.com. We take safety reports seriously and will investigate promptly.

12. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the effective date above and, where appropriate, sending you a notification through the App.
